    Simon began his career with the Chicago-based Marmon Group's Getz Brothers 
Corporation, managing consumer brand sales of Maxwell House, Klim Milk, Heinz & 
Quaker Oats products for the Hong Kong and China markets. In 1983, Simon joined 
Carnation Food Company as China General Manager. From 1985 to 1992, Simon 
served as International Trade Director, China & South Pacific, Ministry of 
International Trade, Alberta, Canada. In this market entry director position, 
he assisted companies in developing trade with China and the South Pacific. In 
1993, Simon relocated to Shanghai to join the British Inchcape Group of 
Companies as Chief Executive, Central China. Inchcape specializes in automotive 
retailing, buying services and marketing distribution in China. In 1995, Simon 
joined Philips Electronics and served 7 years in various general manager 
positions within Philips' Lighting Division, most recently as General Manager, 
China / Hong Kong / Taiwan. In December, 2002, Simon assumed a full time role 
as President of CHINA TEAM INTERNATIONAL, based in Shanghai. 


Simon is a native of Hong Kong and received his tertiary education in Canada.
